Top Tips to Improve your Skin

Have you noticed that your skin continues to be dry and flaky, regardless of what you put on it? Or maybe you’ve noticed fine lines, acne, or both? There are many different factors that affect how your skin will look, so if you’ve noticed that your skin could definitely use some TLC, here are some top tips to improve your skin:

Drink your water

We all know that we need to drink more water, but this can often be overlooked in favour of juice, soda, and coffee. There’s nothing wrong with having a coffee or two in the morning, just remember to match every drink with a tall glass of water, and get your H20 throughout the day as often as you can. A glass as soon as you get up is a great idea, and you can also drink a glass of warm water with lemon in the morning to clear your skin and boost your metabolism.

Use a Serum

There’s a reason why women everywhere are switching to serums, and if you’re looking for a serum that can undo damage and restore your beautiful skin, consider using Timelessha, which has a wide range of serums that can be used either instead of or while you use your other creams and lotions.

Serums lock the ingredients to your skin and prevent water from evaporating- keeping it moist and glowing. One great option is a ferulic acid serum, or if you’re concerned about the toll that ageing is taking on your skin, consider timeless anti-aging serums.

Keep it Clean

How often do you wash your pillowcase? Oils from your hair and face will often transfer to your pillow, and if you’re not regularly changing the pillowcase, you may start to notice your skin breaking out. Be sure to remove your makeup before going to bed (even your eye makeup), and follow it up with a good moisturiser or serum to lock in moisture overnight. Finally, be sure to keep your towels and handtowels clean, and avoid touching your face as much as possible.

Exercise

There are many benefits of regular exercise. Endorphins are one of them, but another great benefit is the fact that it’s great for both your body and skin. Cardio is important, and a good sweat will encourage you to drink more water, while strength training will tone your muscles and is also a good way to improve your posture.

Find what works

There are so many products on the market to improve your skin, it can be hard to know which is the best option for you. The best idea is to try a few different brands (be sure to try for at least a few weeks), and see how your skin responds. Many women will find that using birth control can be a great way to clear up their skin, while others have used a retinoid like Retin A or acne medication such as Accutane with great results.
