In this day and age, it is not really difficult to maintain your body. Exercising for half an hour and eating right will result in a fit and happy body, usually we are so engrossed in thinking about our physical well being that we almost ignore that fact that emotional and well being should be given utmost importance as well.

A study recently showed that 70 percent of the physical ailments are a result of an emotionally weak and mentally stressed mind.

It is not really that difficult to maintain emotional and mental happiness.

Some ways to be emotionally and mentally happier.

  1. Meditate to experience tranquility.

Mind thinks of hundreds of things through the day, and if closely observed. 90 percent of the thoughts are unnecessary which consumes a lot of energy.

Isolate yourself for 20 minutes in a day, sit in silence and try not to focus on happy thoughts. If done religiously, those 20 minutes will soon become the best time of your life
