Have you guys realised it’s now only 3 months until Christmas? I don’t know about you, but I feel like this year has absolutely flown by. I hate doing my shopping at the last minute, but some people can be so hard to buy for!
Here are some Christmas gift ideas for your special someone this year:
Classes
Has your favourite person mentioned that they want to take up a new hobby or activity next year? Maybe they want to try Tae Kwon Do, golf or basketball, or perhaps sharpen their writing skills or learn a new language.
If you want to be known as the person who gives the best gifts, listen to your friends and family’s goals for next year and do your bit to ensure they can make them happen.
A Gym Membership
This one can be tricky, and I’d never suggest you give your overweight aunt a gym membership. But if you have a friend or family member who is really trying to get in shape but can’t afford to pay for the gym, this could be a great way to help them meet their goals and enjoy years of good health.
People are also far more likely to go to the gym if they have someone to be accountable for, so you could even pay for a few sessions with a personal trainer or get them a membership at your gym so you can work out together.
A Train Set
If you have nieces or nephews and want to be known as the favourite aunt or uncle, a train set is the way to go. They’ll be sure to be the most popular kid on their street and will spend hours setting up the track and watching the trains go round and round. Kids these days have far too much screen time, so this is a good way to help them use their imagination and improve their hand-eye coordination. Check out the awesome options at Hawkin’s Bazaar.
Vouchers
Vouchers get a lot of slack, and many people assume that the giver was either lazy or simply doesn’t know the person well enough to put real thought into their gift.
But for some people, vouchers are the best gift ever. I remember getting vouchers as a teenager and being excited because it meant I could go shopping with my friends. And if you know the person you’re giving the gift to has been saving up for something special or simply doesn’t have much money for shopping, vouchers can actually be a more thoughtful gift.
Experiences
They experiences are more rewarding than material things, so now’s your chance to give a great experience as a gift. Find out if there’s something your special someone has been wanting to do for a long time. Maybe it’s whitewater rafting, bungy jumping or skydiving. Maybe they love to travel and you can gift them with a weekend away to unwind. Experiences are a great way to show you care.
